Seedling to vegetative targets

Seedling: 18/6 light, 72 to 80 F, 65 to 75 percent RH, VPD 0.4 to 0.8, PPFD 100 to 300, canopy distance 24 to 36 inches, very gentle indirect airflow.

Early vegetative: 18/6, 72 to 82 F, 60 to 70 percent RH, VPD 0.8 to 1.0, PPFD 300 to 500, distance 18 to 24 inches, gentle continuous airflow.

Late vegetative: 18/6, 72 to 82 F, 55 to 65 percent RH, VPD 1.0 to 1.2, PPFD 500 to 700, distance 16 to 24 inches, moderate stronger airflow through canopy.

Flowering targets

Early flower: 12/12, 68 to 80 F, 50 to 60 percent RH, VPD 1.1 to 1.3, PPFD 700 to 900, distance 12 to 18 inches, moderate steady air movement.

Mid flower: 12/12, 68 to 78 F, 45 to 55 percent RH, VPD 1.2 to 1.4, PPFD 800 to 1000, distance 12 to 18 inches, moderate to strong airflow around buds.

Late flower or ripening: 12/12, 65 to 75 F, 40 to 50 percent RH, VPD 1.3 to 1.5, PPFD 700 to 900, distance 12 to 18 inches, strong airflow around buds but not directly at plants.

Environmental reminders

PPFD is described as light intensity the plant actually uses.

The poster stresses stable day and night temperatures, good airflow and closer observation in flower to avoid mold or stress.

Common mistakes listed

too much light, high humidity in flower, poor airflow, extreme temperatures, inconsistency and ignoring what the plant itself is showing
