Iron and manganese

Iron deficiency early signs

new leaves pale yellow while veins remain greener, affecting fresh growth first

Iron mid stage

yellowing intensifies, leaves can become thin or twisted and growth slows

Iron late stage

new leaves turn almost white, necrotic spotting may appear and new growth becomes severely stunted

Manganese deficiency early signs

small yellow spots between veins with a mottled look in new growth

Manganese mid stage

spotting grows, leaves may distort and interveinal chlorosis spreads

Manganese late stage

necrotic spotting, downward edge curl and badly distorted new growth

Zinc and sulfur

Zinc deficiency early signs

small new leaves, slight yellowing between veins and shortened internodes

Zinc mid stage

leaves narrow and deform, interveinal yellowing increases and growth is stunted

Zinc late stage

severe interveinal yellowing, brittle twisted leaves and rosette-like stunting

Sulfur deficiency early signs

young leaves show uniform light green color and yellowing starts at new growth

Sulfur mid stage

yellowing spreads upward, leaves become pale yellow and growth slows

Sulfur late stage

leaves turn very pale yellow, stems thin and weaken and overall growth becomes slow

Observe the pattern.

Test before guessing.

Correct the cause rather than only reacting to the leaf color.
